An event to honor late poet Max Ritvo, author of the 2014 PSA chapbook Aeons, selected by Jean Valentine, and the debut collection Four Reincarnations, just published by Milkweed Editions. Featuring Kaveh AkbarTimothy Donnelly, Dorothea Lasky, Herb LeibowitzSarah Ruhl, Jean Valentine, William Zabel, and Alan Ziegler. Reception to follow.

 Anselm Berrigan and Amanda Nadelberg 

 

Anselm Berrigan is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently Come In Alone (Wave Books, 2016) and Primitive State (Edge, 2015). He is poetry editor for The Brooklyn Rail and co-editor with Alice Notley and Edmund Berrigan of The Collected Poems of Ted Berrigan. 
 
Amanda Nadelberg is the author of three books of poetry: Songs from a Mountain (Coffee House Press, 2016), Bright Brave Phenomena (2012), and Isa the Truck Named Isadore (Slope Editions, 2006),

Beth Bachmann is the author of two books of poems from the Pitt Poetry Series, including Temper, winner of the Association of Writers & Writing Programs Donald Hall Poetry Prize and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award; and Do Not Rise, winner of the Poetry Society of America's Alice Fay di Castagnola Award. 

Laurie Ann Guerrero's books include A Tongue in the Mouth of the Dying, winner of the 2012 AndrĂ©s Montoya Poetry Prize; the chapbook Babies under the Skin, selected by by Naomi Shihab Nye for the Panhandler Chapbook Award; and her latest, A Crown for Gumecindo, winner of the 2016 Helen C. Smith Award from the Institute of Texas Letters.
